LYNN — A 41-year-old Lynn man was robbed and stabbed on Vine Street Monday morning.
The victim had been walking to his car when he was approached by a man. The suspect took the man’s gold chain and stabbed him in the abdomen, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The victim was taken to Salem Hospital for treatment. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening. The suspect fled on foot down Warren Street toward Commercial Street, Kmiec said.
Police responded to the stabbing shortly after 9 a.m.
The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
