LYNN — Firefighters extinguished a car fire in a parking lot on Liberty Street Wednesday morning.
The call came in shortly before 8 a.m. for the fire in a parking lot on Liberty Street near Willow Street. Several engines were on the scene as firefighters smashed the passenger side window to gain access to the smoky car. No one was inside the car at the time of the call.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
