She wasn’t sure how entry was gained and stated that jewelry was taken.

A report of suspicious activity at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday at 21 Perkins St. The landlord requested additional checks on his property. He stated he was renovating the first and second floors and showed one apartment that day — he felt the person may be casing the place; at 11:08 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Antonio Drive. A caller reported that she thought someone may have been trying to break into motor vehicles. The caller said the people left, one on foot and one in a car, but was unable to point officers to what direction they went. Police checked the area and couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary.
A report of a neighborhood dispute at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday at 22 Ruth Ave. Police reported there was not a car fire, but that the resident was upset with her neighbor who was flying a toy plane and didn’t like the smell and smoke coming from the plane. A car fire had initially been reported. John Almeida, 52, of 55 Paul Ave., was summoned for disturbing the peace and destruction of property.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 12:36 p.m. Wednesday on Newbury Street. Police broke the windows of a car to get to an unresponsive man. Two doses of Narcan were administered.
Theft
A report of a robbery at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Your Convenience at 150 Main St. An armed robbery with a knife was reported. The suspect is a white man, approximately 5 feet 9 inches. The man had on pink fingerless gloves and displayed a knife with possibly a wooden handle. He took a cordless phone from the store.
A report of a larceny at 11:01 p.m. Tuesday at Tri City Cab at 55R Walnut St. A man walked into the station and reported that his phone was stolen; at 7:32 a.m. Wednesday at 18 Cashman Road. A caller reported a past theft of cash. The incident had allegedly occurred at her house, and that she followed another woman down the street, who she suspected left the area. Caitlin Suzanne Oldziey, 25, of Salem, was arrested on a warrant and drug possession.
