A Biscayne Avenue resident reported a box truck has been parked on the street for the past six months at 7:43 a.m. Monday. Police report the truck is parked legally and is registered to a resident of Biscayne Avenue.
A report of a 911 hangup at Saugus High School at 8:07 a.m. Monday. Police report speaking with the principal and everything appears to be secure.
A report of low-hanging cable wires on Essex Street at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
A report of an overturned dump truck with possible fuel leakage at 30 Cliff Road at 12:43 p.m. Monday. The driver reportedly left the scene with a minor injury to seek treatment on his own. The 10-wheel dump truck, which was flipped over on its side on a hill, was removed by G&J towing after almost two hours. A small fuel leak was contained.
An Essex Street resident reportedly called twice stating “come and get me” and “I’m going to kill you” at 3:33 p.m. Monday. Police report dispatching all units for a well-being check. Officers made contact, the resident is fine and denying all claims made against him. It appears to be a prank.
Theft
A report of a breaking and entering and burglary at Route One Car Wash on Broadway at 12:05 p.m. Monday. The caller reported an overnight break in. There is footage of the incident and a payment box was stolen from one of the car wash bays.
