LYNN — Axel Davis and Stephen Stille are the newest lieutenants for the Lynn Fire Department.
Davis and Stille were promoted from firefighter to lieutenant and were sworn into their new positions on Tuesday at City Hall, Lynn Fire Chief Stephen Archer said.
Both were promoted after coming out on top of the most recent lieutenant’s exam and are filling the role of two retired lieutenants. Davis and Stille will see a 16 percent salary bump to $60,000, Archer said.
Davis and Stille have been the department for approximately five and six years respectively, Archer said.
