A caller reported an electrician was doing work on Harbor Avenue at 12:54 p.m. on Thursday and ripped up the gas line. National Grid was notified and responding officers diverted traffic to Ocean Avenue. Responding officers stated it was a “pretty big leak.” DPW was requested to bring sawhorses to block Flint at Harbor Avenue. Nearby houses in the area were evacuated until the road was cleared at 1:54 p.m. on Thursday.
A caller, who stated he owns the business behind the Fast Break shop, reported three kids smoking something — “possibly the Juul stuff or something else that they sell in the store out front” — on Smith Street at 2:48 p.m. on Thursday. He stated the kids are high schoolers and he wants to report them for that sort of activity.
A caller reported there were several charges on her bank account at 4:28 p.m. on Thursday that were not done by her. She stated several were from Domino’s in Swampscott, including one on Thursday. She stated she spoke to the supervisor at the pizza store and he will give the information to the police.
A caller reported a suspicious box truck backed down Willow Road at 4:47 p.m. on Thursday. The caller stated when he looked out his window the truck took off from the area and had spray paint on the rear of it.
A caller reported a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a blue Tahoe chugging alcohol and smoking something on Lighthouse Lane at 9:21 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers found the man was drinking a root beer.
A caller reported neighbors on their back porch on Washington Street being loud at 2:11 a.m. on Friday. The caller stated it’s been an ongoing problem and has been going on all night. Responding officers spoke to the party-goers and they went home.

Brett P. Budowicz, 59, of 42 Hawkes St., Saugus, was arrested following a traffic stop at First Street and Lakeland Park Drive on Friday at 11:53 a.m. and charged with attaching plates, operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.

Rafael Azevedo, 27, of 106 Wilbur St., Everett, was issued a summons following a motor vehicle stop on Thursday at 10:02 p.m. at 66 County St. and 33 Rose Circle for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Caller from 12 St. Lo Drive reported two dogs running in the area. They were described as medium, long-haired, black-and-white dogs that appear to have collars. Animal control officer reports they were gone upon arrival.
Report of a dog that lives at 62 Summit St. attacked a second dog at 74 Summit St. on Friday at 10:18 a.m. Officer reports neither dog was injured and no quarantine necessary.

Lowell Crossing Enterprises Group Home reports a resident acting up on Thursday at 6:47 p.m. Party was yelling, being verbally abusive and derogatory towards staff. Officer spoke to the party, who was under control upon arrival. Party declined an ambulance.
