MARBLEHEAD — The Church of St. Andrew will host an evening of Italian arias and selections from the American songbook Sunday, Feb. 24. The concert features guest soloists Mary-Alexandra Onstad and Valerie Osborn, accompanied by Mary Jodice on piano. Selections will include “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “My Funny Valentine,” Rossini’s “Duetto Buffo di Due Gatti” and other songs, arias and operatic duets.

A pre-concert dessert reception is at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall, followed by the concert at 7:30. A suggested donation of $10, payable at the door, will help support the church’s music programming.

Onstad, who holds a graduate diploma in voice and opera studies from the New England Conservatory of Music, is a performer of opera, musical theater, oratoria, art song and more. She has appeared on many stages, including Boston Opera Collaborative, New England Conservatory Opera Theatre, New England Light Opera, and additional venues throughout New England, the United States, and Europe. She also teaches voice and piano.

Osborn holds a master’s degree in music from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. She has performed extensively throughout New England and the Southeast. A member of Opera on Tap Boston, she has performed with the NEMPAC Opera Project and with the Arlington Philharmonic Society and is on the faculty at the Music Makers School of Acton.

Jodice has been music director at St. Andrew’s since 2015. She is the founder and artistic director of Summer Chamber Music on the Hill, a concert series at the church. She holds a degree in music and organ performance from the Longy School of Music at Bard College.

The Church of St. Andrew is at 135 Lafayette St. (Route 114), on the Marblehead-Salem line, and is handicapped accessible.
