Saugus and Revere reported additional coronavirus deaths, and new cases were reported in several North Shore communities on Friday.
Two more Revere residents have died from the virus, which brings the city’s death toll to 96.
At press time, Revere had not provided updated case numbers. As of Thursday, the city’s caseload was 2,360.
Saugus reported an additional death and five new cases on Friday. Forty residents have now died and 643 have been infected.
Thirteen new cases, but no additional deaths were reported in Lynn. The city now has 4,536 cases, 114 people have died and 3,815 have recovered, according to city data.
In Peabody, eight new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 1,240. Of that total, 177 residents have died and 940 have recovered from the virus, according to the health department.
With an additional case reported on Friday, Lynnfield now has 110 cases and 11 deaths.
Numbers remained the same in Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) and have not been updated in Marblehead (262 cases, 30 deaths) or Swampscott (157 cases, 10 deaths) since Wednesday.
