Revere is approaching a grim coronavirus milestone.
With an additional death reported on Wednesday, the city’s COVID-19 death toll is now 99.
Revere also reported 12 new cases to bring the city’s caseload to 2,493, according to the city website.
Additional deaths were also reported in Peabody and Saugus to bring their respective death tolls to 181 and 41.
Peabody has reported five new cases since last Friday. The city now has 1,250 cases, but 962 people have recovered from the virus, according to the health department.
In Saugus, seven new cases have been reported since last week to bring the town’s caseload to 666.
Lynn reported eight new cases, but no additional deaths on Wednesday. The city now has 4,657 cases, 117 deaths, and 3,990 people have recovered, according to city data.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (126 cases, 11 deaths) and Nahant (52 cases, six deaths), and were not updated in Marblehead or Swampscott.
As of Tuesday, Marblehead had 264 cases and 30 deaths and Swampscott (160 cases, 11 deaths) has not released updated numbers since last Friday.
