PEABODY — Police are investigating after a 26-year-old Lynn man was shot on Lowell Street early Monday morning.
Shortly after 1 a.m., Peabody police responded to a shooting in the area of 30 Lowell St. and encountered the victim, who reported he had been shot while he was outside, police said.
Emergency first aid was administered to the victim at the scene and he was transported to Lahey Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation by Peabody Police and State Police detectives assigned to the Essex County District Attorney’s office, police said.
