SALEM — Two victims were reportedly taken to a Mass General in serious condition following a shooting in the Point neighborhood, according to multiple sources.

The shooting was first reported just before 8:30 p.m., in the area of Perkins Street and Lynch Street.

Two people were shot multiple times, with gunshot wounds to the abdomen, according to Rockingham Alert.

Multiple EMS units were on the scene following the shooting.

Police have established a crime and are actively investigating.
