New coronavirus cases were reported Wednesday in Lynn, Lynnfield Peabody, Revere and Salem.
Salem also reported an additional death to bring its death toll to 81. With 21 new cases reported, the city’s caseload is now 4,689, according to the city website.
In Lynn, 19 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 17,459. Of that total, 193 cases are active, 216 people have died, and 17,050 have recovered from the virus, city data shows.
Thirteen new cases have been reported in Peabody since Monday. The city has 7,179 cases, 317 people have died, and 6,546 have recovered, the health department said.
In Revere, 12 new cases were reported to bring the city’s total numbers to 10,790 cases and 163 deaths, according to the city website.
An additional case was reported in Lynnfield (1,199 cases, 29 deaths), no change was reported in Nahant (250 cases, eight deaths), and numbers were not updated in Marblehead, Saugus and Swampscott.
Swampscott had 1,151 cases and 19 deaths as of Monday, Marblehead had 1,318 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday, and Saugus (4,129 cases, 72 deaths) has not provided updated numbers since last Thursday.
