The Marblehead golf team kept its unbeaten season alive Friday afternoon, notching a 50-22 win over Lynn Classical in a non-conference bout at Tedesco Country Club.
Matt Weed led the way for the Magicians, shooting a score of 34 to earn medalist honors and win his match 6-3.
Also winning matches for Marblehead were Chris Locke (6 1/2-2 1/2), Jacob Hershfield (7 1/2-1 1/2), Jacob Aizanman (5 1/2-3 1/2), Adrian Baron (6 1/2-2 1/2), Chris Cannuscio (7-2) and Jack Sontz (7-2).
Marblehead (3-0) hosts Peabody Tuesday (3:45).
TJ Walsh earned the lone win for the Rams on the day, taking his match 5-4. Despite losing his match to Weed, Classical No. 1 Brady Warren shot a score of 37.

Ian Rourke was the low scorer for the Eagles for the second straight day, shooting a score of 39 in the loss. Nick DeVito, Terry Manning and Travis Broadbent each shot scores of 40, while Eli Tripodis (42) and Michael Shyjan (43) also recorded scores for the Prep.
St. John’s Prep (3-1) travels to Catholic Memorial Tuesday (3).

The Magicians battled back from a 1-0 halftime deficit behind goals from Lydia Bailey and Samantha Dormer. Ella Kramer continued her strong season with two assists.

Emma Bloom played a great game in net for the Tanners despite the loss, while Maddie Scacchi, Branae Craveiro, Connie Patturelli, Brooke Lomasney and Ava D’Ambrosio also played well.

The Magicians rallied from two sets down to capture the victory on Friday, winning by set scores of 20-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-12.
Nicolette Tetti had a big game with 14 kills and two blocks, while Keira Sweetnam and Isabel Wabno each had eight kills. Setter Julia Potvin notched 30 assists in the win.
