Malden man arrested for murder in Lynn

LYNN — A 31-year-old Malden man was arrested on a warrant charging him with murder and a litany of other firearms charges, in Lynn Thursday.

Junior St. Jean, of 22 Ash St., is also charged with armed assault with intent to murder, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a dangerous weapon (4th offense), two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon by discharging a firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and possession of a firearm without an FID card.

St. Jean was arrested at 12:28 p.m. Thursday, police records show.

Arraignment information for St. Jean was not immediately available, and Carrie Kimball, a spokeswoman for the Essex district attorney’s office could not be reached for comment.

Lt. Michael Kmiec, a spokesman for Lynn police, did not return multiple requests for comment.
