LYNN — There will be a community-outreach public forum concerning the proposal to build a new Pickering Middle School on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Pickering auditorium. There is also an option to participate by Zoom (Webinar ID# 89372994442, passcode 975350).

The forum will be led by Leftfield, the project manager, and architect Raymond Design Associates. There will be a review of current project updates, including the Article 97 process, which deals with using open space for other purposes. Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions of the project team, city officials, and Lynn Public Schools.

There will be live translations available in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Khmer, and Haitian Creole.

There is also a Community Project Survey available on the Pickering Middle School project’s website that seeks input on residents’ questions, concerns, and general feedback on the project.
