Assault
The transit police requested assistance on Thursday at 8:43 p.m. at Best Buy at 1201 Broadway. A male in a Packers sweatshirt was attacking a bus driver. Officers were dispatched, and it was reported that this was an attempted assault after an argument related to the bus fare. The suspect was not on scene when officers arrived.
Disturbance
A caller reported that a man was smoking near the pumps at the Mobil at 368 Broadway at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday.
Larceny
A walk-in to the station reported at 6:53 p.m. on Thursday that three phones had been stolen from his porch.
Motor Vehicles
A caller reported at 11:38 a.m. on Thursday that his vehicle was struck on Newhall Avenue, and the other vehicle had fled the scene. The vehicle returned to the scene — report to follow.
Multiple callers reported at 5:42 p.m. on Thursday that multiple vehicles were in an accident on Main Street. Officers, fire, and ambulance were dispatched. McGarvey’s towed two vehicles from the scene.
Shoplifting
Loss Prevention at TJ Maxx reported a woman concealing children’s clothes in bags at 12:35 p.m. on Thursday. The woman had been trespassed previously for three years from the premises. The woman was trespassed again.
