SAUGUS — A vehicle crashed into a parked car on Walnut Street Wednesday at 2 a.m. — officially the first accident in the town in 2025.
One patient was transported to the hospital, according to the Saugus Fire Department on Facebook. McGarvey Towing was also on the scene to help clear the road.
Though this is just the first crash of the year, you can expect there to be many more to come, as Saugus had approximately 600 crashes in 2024, according to the fire department.
The Saugus Fire Department, Police Department, ambulances, and towing companies are consistently on the scene of minor and major accidents throughout the town.
Main Street and Route 1 continue to be hotspots for crashes, with many residents online reporting sirens heading to these areas every night. Route 1 is known for its high-speed crashes, with multiple signs crashed into last year.
