LYNN — If you visit the four-story thrift shop at 545 Washington St., you’ll discover a curated selection of unique treasures from vendors such as Bobby From Boston, Salty Seas Vintage, Hez, CulteDesign, and Keas Delivery Service. Now, designer Marco Collins, known as Mvhco, takes an exciting step in his creative journey by adding his new shop, Mvhco’s Room, to the list of featured vendors.

Collins’ shop will feature a carefully curated selection of clothing he’s personally sourced through his own shopping and thrifting adventures along with pieces from his own brand. This will feature exclusive store-only drops, 20 new hats every Sunday, alongside his one-of-a-kind pieces that have graced the runway from events such as Vlush.

“Everything that I curate is gonna come strictly from my imagination, or nostalgia: such as the 80s, 90s, Y2K, and all the way up to now,” Collins said. “I’d also like to say I’m fortunate to run into my past substitute teacher, Mr. Skahan, who gave me an opportunity to collaborate with him at his shop.”

With his brand showcased in the shop, Collins is eager to feature the work of other local designers, supporting and highlighting their talent. Looking ahead, Collins hopes to add brands such as Sh0ckman, Vlush, Sin Kid, JOLA Brand, UBC Essentials, and any other designers who are eager to showcase their work and expand their reach.

You can visit Mvhco’s Room every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or you can schedule an appointment to go on the weekdays. For appointments or any other inquiries, feel free to contact Collins through the shop’s Instagram at @mvhcosroom.
