In her first time competing in the 100-meter breaststroke at the varsity level, Violet Moreira, a freshman on the Lynnfield girls swimming and diving team, set a new school record of 1:13.15 during the team's dual-meet against Hamilton-Wenham at Gordon College on Wednesday.
