You know what I’ve been thinking? She’s got the eye of the (Lynn Tech) Tiger.
It was a monstrous week for girls basketball star Allison Morales. Even better was her timing, as Tech had dropped back-to-back games to begin January.
Then came a four-game week that included three consecutive game nights. All the Tigers (6-2) did was go 4-0 with double-digit victories against Lowell Catholic, KIPP Academy, Rockport, and Nashoba Valley Tech.
Morales led the charge with the following performances . . .
Lowell Catholic: 38 points, nine rebounds, three steals, three blocks
KIPP Academy: 24 points, nine rebounds, seven steals
Rockport: 33 points, five rebounds, eight steals
Nashoba Valley Tech: 22 points, two rebounds, two steals
Call that a weekly average of 29 points and six rebounds.
“Allison has elevated her game to a whole new level this season,” said coach Kaitlyn Wechsler. “She continues to be a dominant force on the offensive end and is showing tremendous growth in her ability to control the game on the defensive end as well. I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to see all of her continued success.”
Allison, good week.
