With a thrilling 6-5 victory inside of Rockett Arena in Salem, Marblehead’s boys hockey team (1-8-1) upset Danvers and entered the win column. The Falcons led 2-0 before the Headers found their rhythm on the power play.
Hayden Gallo, Max King, Ryan Angilly, Jackson Drayer (first varsity goal), and Teddy Dulac (2 goals) found the back of the net. Holden Ferreira compiled multiple assists, while Zander Salem picked up his first varsity point.
Despite being outshot 37-13, Marblehead goalie Bowdoin Laramie stopped 32 shots and was clutch in the final minutes.

Leading the way were Cole Alexander (goal, assist), Aiden St. Pierre (goal, assist), Geo Capo (goal), Finn Racki (goal), Cam Marchand (goal), Stephen Nason (2 assists), JJ Avery (2 assists), Colton Carpenter (assist), Evan Toto (assist), and Vinzent Riedlmayer (assist), who recorded his first point.

The Bishop Fenwick girls fell to Arlington Catholic inside of the Beverly YMCA. Senior captain Caroline Blatchford took first place in the 200 free (2:05:39) and qualified for North Sectionals, as well as Division 1 states. She also won the 100 backstroke (1:07.27).
