Animal Complaint
A report of an animal complaint at 8:51 a.m. Thursday on Main Street. Caller reported a deer stuck in the fence. ACO reported that the deer will have to be put down. Services rendered; a report at 4:35 p.m. on Rice Street. Caller reported that there was a turkey chasing senior citizens. There were no injuries, and the animal did not attack anyone. Area search negative.
Assault
A report of assault at 3:02 p.m. Thursday at PETCO on Broadway. An employee reported that she had been assaulted by a customer who was no longer on the scene. Report taken.
DPW Complaint
A report of a DPW complaint at 10:26 a.m. Thursday on Riverside Court. Caller reported a leak in his basement. DPW notified.
License Plate Lost/Stolen
A report of a license plate lost/stolent at 6:49 p.m. Thursday on Thistle Road. Caller reported she had noticed that one of her license plates was missing. Officer reported he was able to locate the plate. Public assist.
Motor Vehicles
A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:56 p.m. Thursday on Essex Street at Fiske Avenue. Ambulance 2 reported an accident and that two vehicles are involved. Report taken.
A report of a motor vehicle stop at 8:18 a.m. Thursday on Adams Avenue at Adams Court. Verbal warning; a report at 7:48 p.m. at Saugus Rehabilitation and Nursing on Lincoln Avenue. Investigated; a report at 8:19 p.m. at Sizzle Tanning Salon at Cogliano’s Plaza on Lincoln Avenue. Citation issued.
Noise Complaint
A report of a noise complaint at 1:15 a.m. Thursday on Broadway. Caller reported that it sounded like a loud argument was going on in the unit above them. Peace restored.
Unwanted Party
A report of an unwanted party at 5:22 p.m. Thursday at the Square One Mall food court on Broadway. Mall security requested that three men be removed from the property. They were disturbing other customers and refused to leave after being asked multiple times. Peace restored.
