PEABODY — Baby, it’s cold outside — but Peabody knows how to warm things up.
The City of Peabody and the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce are bringing back the Frost Bar Lounge, your favorite outdoor winter hangout! The event will be Saturday, March 7 from 5-7 p.m.
Head to the Courthouse Plaza, at 1 Lowell St., for an evening of good vibes, great drinks, and community fun, featuring: music and dancing with DJ Rick DeSanctis, ice-cold beer from Granite Coast Brewing Company, wine and seltzers to sip on from the ice bar, a classic hot dog wagon, and sweet treats from Tiffany’s Tasty Treats.
“Pop up events give people a reason to visit downtown, and the Frost Lounge is generating a lot of excitement. This winter has been especially hard on small businesses and we know people will eat before and after the event, giving a little boost to our local economy,” Chamber President Deanne Healey said.
Some vendors will be cash only. Be prepared with small bills.
This event is designed for adults, and you must be 21+ with a valid ID to purchase alcohol.
There is a $10 admission fee to cover the costs associated with hosting any event that must be covered.

“It’s going to be a great night of fun and friendly faces at the Frost Lounge in downtown Peabody,” Mayor Ted Bettencourt said. “After a long winter, everyone’s eager to get out, catch up with friends, and feel that warm sense of community again. And once you’ve enjoyed the festivities, we invite you to explore our vibrant Main Street restaurants, where you’ll find special deals just for the occasion.”
