LYNN—- Attendees at the Lynn Senior Center, Monday, were treated to the fourth annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration and luncheon, sponsored by EDIC/Lynn and the office of Mayor Jared C. Nicholson.
“This gets bigger and bigger every year,” said EDIC/Lynn Executive Director James Cowdell, whose agency started the event in 2023 at the suggestion of the mayor.
More than 110 seniors enjoyed a corned beef lunch, raffle prizes, and a photo booth. The meal was served by Nicholson, City Councilors Nicole McClain, Dr. Peter Meaney, Natash Megie-Maddrey, Hong Net, Cardeliz Paez, School Committee member Lorraine Gately, and EDIC staff.
“I love coming here at all times of the year. It’s one of the most festive places in the City of Lynn,” Nicholson said.
