LYNN — Renee Leavitt, the New England Music Hall of Fame’s 2025 Artist of the Year, will perform Saturday night at Monte’s Restaurant, a staple in Lynn.
Leavitt, daughter of former Daily Item sports writer Gary Leavitt, has reached No. 1 on the CDX Positive Country/Southern Gospel music charts. She is scheduled to perform at the Marshfield, Barnstable, and Topsfield fairs this summer, along with several festivals, including the Leather City Common summer concert series in Peabody and the Parker River Beach Summer Concert Series in Yarmouth.
Leavitt will take the stage around 8 p.m. alongside keyboardist Eric The Great, performing original songs and covers of country, rock, and pop. Guests can enjoy thin-crust pizza during the show.
She has also performed the national anthem at Fenway Park on several occasions, as well as the Canadian national anthem when the Toronto Blue Jays were in town.
