To the editor:

Of course I know that Martha Cesarz is running unopposed for Swampscott School Committee, but I’d still like to sing her praises. She’d win, and deserve to, even among a large field of candidates. “Transparent, reliable, responsive,” states her press release. True, true, and true, which makes the rest of us in town very fortunate. Let’s add respected, intelligent, reasonable, attentive, and down-to-earth. Plus, always leading with a smile.

Martha will be a welcome contrast to some of the sitting committee members, that’s for sure. Both her fortitude and sensitivity will do them, and us all, some good.

Congratulations, Martha!
