LYNN — North Shore Community College will celebrate its upcoming 2026 Commencement ceremony on May 22 at their Lynn Campus Green on Broad Street.
This year, there will be two ceremonies featuring commencement speakers who have served monumental roles across both health and education. The first event will be held at 10 a.m. for the Liberal Studies and STEM & Business Graduates, which also includes Frederick Douglass Collegiate Academy graduates from NSCC Programs. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Patrick Tutwiler, president and CEO of Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs and former Massachusetts Secretary of Education.
At 2 p.m., there will be a ceremony for the Health Professions and Human Services & Emergency Response Graduates. Tom Sands, Market President-North Shore & NHC Board of Trustees, will be the keynote speaker; he served as president of Carney Hospital in Dorchester, MA, prior to joining Beth Israel Lahey Health.
Last year, City Councilor-At-Large Nicole McClain held the distinctive honor.
