LYNN

Arrests

Whitney Baskin, of Washington Street, was arrested at 3:51 p.m. Monday on a warrant charge for threatening to commit a crime.

Jaden Hill, 18, of Commandants Way (Chelsea), was arrested at 6:28 p.m. Monday on three counts of distribution of drugs, possession of drugs to distribute and fugitive from justice in court. Hill was also arrested on a warrant charge of possession of drugs to distribute.  

Alarms 

Reports of alarms at 12:36 a.m. Monday at the Kokomma Nigerian African Cuisine on Central Square, 1:40 a.m. on Western Avenue, 5:31 a.m. on Border Street, 5:59 a.m. on Basset Street, 1:10 p.m. on Central Avenue, 1:45 p.m. on Washington Street, 1:57 p.m. on Western Avenue, 5:41 p.m. on Commercial Street, and 11:48 p.m. at Sunshine Laundry on Joyce Street.  

Con/Scam

A report of con/scam at 1:10 p.m. Monday on Linden Street. 

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 7:37 a.m. Monday on Washington Street, 3:43 p.m. on Central Avenue, 4:54 p.m. at the CVS pharmacy on South Common Street, 4:56 p.m. on North Common Street, 6:04 p.m. at Barry Park on Waterford Street, and 6:49 p.m. at the Dominos Pizza on Western Avenue.

Motor Vehicle 

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 6:11 a.m. Monday on Lynnfield Street, 3:22 p.m. on Spencer Street, 3:32 p.m. on Exchange Street, 3:55 p.m. on Oxford Street, and 6:35 p.m. on High Rock Street.

Noise

Reports of noises at 3:47 p.m. Monday on Temple Place, 9:34 p.m. on Atlantic Street, and 11:21 p.m. on Atlantic Street.

Suspicious Activity

Reports of suspicious activity at 2:36 a.m. Monday on Western Avenue and 6:22 p.m. on Huss Center and South Common Street.

Trespassing 

Reports of trespassing at 1:08 p.m. Monday on Central Avenue, 2:47 p.m. on Washington Street, 4:31 p.m. on Andrew Street, and 7:54 p.m. on High Street.

 

SAUGUS

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at Saugus Public Library on Central Street. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 2:28 p.m. on Essex Street. Building appears to be secure.  

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 4:25 a.m. Monday at the Red Roof Inn on Broadway. An employee reported that an unauthorized party was taking place in a room. Dispersed gathering; a report at 5:04 p.m. at Prince on Broadway. The manager reported a man who urinated directly in front of a window of the restaurant and entered Dunkin. Investigated; a report at 6:26 p.m. on Walden Pond Avenue. Caller reported an erratic operator was in a verbal altercation with the homeowner. Citation issued; a report at 7:01 p.m. at the basketball court at Shining Star Learning Center on East Denver Street. Report taken.   

Larceny

A report of larceny at 3:27 p.m. Monday at Walmart on Broadway. Loss prevention reported a theft of jewelry. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 7:41 a.m. Monday on Summer Street at Main Street. A woman walked into the station and reported that she had been involved in a minor crash with an individual on a scooter. Investigated; a report at noon in the area of Ocean State Job Lot on Broadway. Caller reported a minor accident with no injuries. Report taken; a report at 1:34 p.m. at Burger King on Broadway.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 2:22 a.m. Monday at Sears Automotive Center on Broadway. Citation issued; a report at 4:59 a.m. at Prince Pizza on Broadway. Verbal warning.  

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 7:41 a.m. Monday on Denver Street. Caller reported someone had parked a vehicle directly in front of her house a couple of days ago; a report at 2:40 p.m. at Marshalls on Broadway. Citation warning; a report at 6:11 p.m. on Main Street. Citation warning; a report at 7:11 p.m. at Kentucky Fried Chicken on Broadway. Citation warning; a report at 7:17 p.m. at the Pratt Overpass. Citation warning.   

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 2:41 p.m. Monday on Newhall Avenue. Caller reported her daughter had been involved in a verbal altercation with a resident of the commons on her way home from school. Investigated; a report at 2:56 p.m. on Hitching Hill Road. Caller reported her dog located a bone in the woods. It was the bone of a small rodent. Investigated.
