LYNN — On Monday, Lynn City Council Vice President Fred Hogan announced his endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary.
“I am proud to endorse Dan Koh for Congress,” Hogan said. “From his time serving as Chief of Staff to Mayor Walsh in Boston and Secretary Walsh in the Department of Labor, Dan knows that when unions do well, businesses do well, too. I know he will work tirelessly to secure funding to build up our infrastructure, and I look forward to working together to create a more prosperous 6th District.”
Koh shared his appreciation for Hogan’s endorsement, expressing his admiration for Hogan’s dedication and commitment to standing up for the working class.
“I am so honored to have the endorsement of Council Vice President Hogan,” Koh said. “As a lifelong Lynn resident, he cares so much for his community, and it shows through his work as an elected official and as a founder of Stop The Violence. He also shares my passion for ensuring that unions always have a seat at the table because having a robust network of unions is key to building up our economy. I feel very fortunate to have his support as we work to build a better future for the 6th District.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to more than 75 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
