LYNN — Featuring plenty of sun, swings, and smiles, Lynn’s Gannon Municipal Golf Course has been busy with events.
The Gannon Ladies held their annual Janice Vance Memorial Day for Cancer, featuring an ABCD Net Stableford Tournament that was won by Julie Lombara, Alana Pedersen, Connie Peterson, and Marilyn Bonneau (110).
Second place went to Patty Roderick, Janet Wallce, June Chiarella, and Patty Hale (108), while third belonged to Colleen Toner, Carol Mills, Linda Eaton, and Lorraine Gately (107).
Continuing the action, the Men’s Innerclub held its Presidents’ Cup — a two-day Chapman format in its eighth year. Winning were Stan Glowacz and Fred “Buddy” Riley (17 under par). It was Riley’s first Presidents’ Cup and Glowacz’s second.
Ryan McMahon and Jared DeFillipo secured second place (-13), while third went to Ed Madden and Mike Wood (-13).
