Registration is open for the Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development first-time homebuyer class on July 11-12. The classes will be held in English and are certified by the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative. They will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. To receive a certificate, attendance at both sessions is required.
Topics covered will include budget, mortgage application, and down payment assistance, appraisals and home inspections, property insurance, de-leading, and more. The cost is $50 per person or $75 per couple (must be purchasing a home together).
