SAUGUS — Julio Aguilar, 42, of Saugus, was arrested along with six other individuals as part of the FBI Boston’s Child Exploitation-Human Trafficking Task Force’s ongoing efforts to address human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children before, during, and after the World Cup matches.
The sting operation took place between June 12 and 16.
The other individuals arrested were: Kenneth M. Berry, 45, of Middleboro; Manjil Bhusal, 21, of Somerville; Jonathan Matthew William Durocher, 34, of Brockton; Trevon Hubbard, 31, of Middleboro; Krish R. Patel, 26, of Quincy; and Gerald Sabatinelli, 71, of Hyannis.
According to the FBI, all of those who were arrested were arraigned in Brockton District Court with the following state charges: sex for a fee with a child under 18, enticement of a child under 16, and attempted rape of a child.
The following departments on FBI Boston’s Child Exploitation-Human Trafficking Task Force contributed to this operation: the East Bridgewater, New Bedford, Peabody, and Randolph Police Departments.
Along with these seven arrests, another six individuals were arrested with assistance from Rhode Island State Police in connection with the investigation by the FBI, Massachusetts State Police, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
These individuals were: Richard Lallier, 34, of Rehoboth; Joshua Lincoln, 27, of North Providence, R.I.; Jacob Palazzo, 26, of Cranston, R.I.; Franco Miccoli, 60, of Johnston, R.I.; Travis Shaw, 38, of Tiverton, R.I.; and Rocky Joseph, 38, of Central Falls, R.I.
