To the editor:
I am writing to express my support for Zosia VanMeter for state representative.
I met Zosia not long ago, through a friend who knew we were both active in volunteer and nonprofit work. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work alongside her on a variety of community efforts and to see firsthand how she approaches serving others.
What stands out most to me is not any single project or accomplishment, but Zosia’s ability to see the bigger picture and bring people together. She has a talent for building connections and creating opportunities for collaboration. Zosia can step back and see the larger challenges without losing sight of the individuals and partnerships needed to address them. I have seen this firsthand in community projects where she brought together volunteers, nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and community leaders who each had a piece of the solution. Her ability to build those connections helped turn good intentions into meaningful action.
I also can’t overlook the fact that Zosia is always willing to get her hands dirty. Whether helping build a community garden, hauling supplies to events, or organizing a food pantry herself, she never hesitates to do the work that needs to be done. That combination of long-term vision and hands-on involvement makes everyone around her more effective.
Public service requires more than good intentions. It requires the ability to build trust, bring people together, and put in the personal effort to solve problems. These are qualities I have seen Zosia demonstrate repeatedly.
For these reasons, I am proud to support Zosia VanMeter for state representative and encourage others to learn more about her candidacy at electzvm.com or @realzvm on Facebook or Instagram.
