Nahant creates hotline for questions on coronavirus
NAHANT — Nahant has created a non-emergency hotline for COVID-19-related questions. The hotline will remain in operation Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon.
In a statement on Nahant’s website posted March 24, Town Administrator Antonio Barletta informed residents of the new line and urged them to call with any questions or concerns they might have.
“Nahant emergency personnel and health professionals are working around the clock to protect the health and safety of our residents,” Barletta’s statement read. “All Town employees and volunteers are putting in the extra effort to continue to provide Town services as best as possible under the current circumstances.
“We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we work together to get through this difficult time.”
The hotline number is (781) 771-2121. Residents can also visit nahant.org for more information.
