NEW VIRUS CASES REPORTED IN LYNN, LYNNFIELD, REVERE, AND SWAMPSCOTT

New coronavirus cases, but no additional deaths were reported Thursday in Lynn, Lynnfield, Revere and Swampscott.
In Lynn, 81 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 14,748. Of that total, 1,668 cases are active, 180 people have died, and 12,900 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Revere reported 30 new cases to bring the city’s total numbers to 9,019 cases and 141 deaths, the city website reported.
Nineteen new cases were reported in Swampscott, which brings the town’s caseload to 872. Sixteen people have died, according to the town website.
In Lynnfield, three new cases were reported to bring the town’s total number of cases to 932. The town’s death toll is 27, the town website reported.
Numbers remained the same in Nahant (213 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Salem or Saugus on Thursday.
As of Wednesday, Peabody had 5,703 cases and 275 deaths, Salem had 3,774 cases and 66 deaths, Saugus had 3,280 cases and 61 deaths, and numbers have not been updated in Marblehead (1,000 cases, 31 deaths) since last Friday.
