ADDITIONAL VIRUS CASES, DEATHS REPORTED IN LYNN, PEABODY, REVERE AND SWAMPSCOTT

New coronavirus cases and additional deaths were reported Monday in Lynn, Peabody, Revere, and Swampscott.

In Lynn, 39 new cases and an additional death were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 15,415 and its death toll to 193.

A total of 369 cases are active in Lynn, and 14,853 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data.

Peabody has reported 54 new cases and two additional deaths since last Friday. The city now has 6,121 cases, 291 people have died, and 5,343 have recovered, the health department reported.

Six new cases and three additional deaths were reported in Revere, which brings the city’s total numbers to 9,454 cases and 149 deaths, according to the city website.

In Swampscott, 11 new cases and three additional deaths have been reported since last Thursday. The town now has 930 cases and 19 people have died, the town website reported.

New cases were also reported Monday in Lynnfield, Marblehead and Salem, but were not updated in Saugus.

Lynnfield (1,000 cases, 29 deaths) has reported 19 new cases since last Friday; Marblehead (1,146 cases, 31 deaths) has reported nine new cases since last Thursday; and Salem (4,026 cases, 72 deaths) has reported 27 new cases since last Friday.

As of last Friday, Saugus had 3,450 cases and 63 deaths.
