PEABODY DEATH TOLL UP TO 305, NEW VIRUS CASES REPORTED ACROSS NORTH SHORE

New coronavirus cases were reported Monday in Lynn, Lynnfield, Nahant, Peabody, Revere and Salem.
Peabody also reported an additional death to bring the city’s death toll to 305.
Forty-three new cases have been reported in Peabody since last Friday to bring the city’s caseload to 6,526, according to the health department.
In Lynn, 27 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 16,159. Of that total, 324 cases are active, 203 people have died, and 15,632 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Salem has reported 28 new cases since last Friday, which brings the city’s total numbers to 4,260 cases and 78 deaths, the city website reported.
Fourteen new cases were reported in Revere, which now has 9,977 cases and 159 deaths, according to the city website.
Lynnfield (1,099 cases, 29 deaths) has reported 13 new cases since last Friday, Nahant (243 cases, six deaths) has reported five new cases since last Friday, and numbers were not updated in Marblehead, Saugus or Swampscott.
As of last Friday, Marblehead had 1,213 cases and 31 deaths and Saugus had 3,710 cases and 67 deaths. As of last Thursday, Swampscott had 994 cases and 19 deaths.
