NEW VIRUS CASES, NO DEATHS REPORTED ON NORTH SHORE

Lynn, Lynnfield, Revere, Salem and Saugus reported new Coronavirus cases on Tuesday.
In Lynn, 22 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 16,974. Of that total, 399 cases are active, 212 people have died, and 16,363 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Twenty-one new cases were reported in Salem to bring the city’s total numbers to 4,500 cases and 80 deaths, the city website reported.
Saugus has reported 49 new cases since last Thursday, which brings the town’s total number of cases to 4,016. Eighty people have died, according to the town website.
Nine new cases were reported in Revere, which now has 10,459 cases and 161 deaths. Lynnfield (1,161 cases, 29 deaths) reported three new cases, and numbers remained the same in Nahant (246 cases, eight deaths), according to their respective websites.
Peabody had 6,901 cases and 314 deaths as of Monday, Marblehead had 1,268 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday, and numbers have not been updated in Swampscott (1,097 cases, 19 deaths) since last Thursday.
