LYNN — On the final day of the 48th Annual Lynn Elementary Basketball Tournament season, top girls and boys players from East and West Lynn came together at Marshall Middle School for the 11th Annual All-Star Games.
In the girls’ game, two-time All-Star Tazlie Gallo, of Lynn Woods, delivered a standout performance. Gallo led all scorers with 10 points and guided East Lynn to a 36-18 victory against West Lynn. She also made tournament history by winning both the Around the World and free-throw competitions, becoming the first player to capture both titles in the same year.
Gallo’s Lynn Woods teammate, Ava Sadler, added seven points in the win, while Shoemaker’s Kenzie Clancy and Harrington’s Analia Echevarria each scored six points for the East squad. West Lynn was led by Cobbet’s Jasmine Yanez Perez, Tracy’s Lucero Regalado, and Drewicz Aranza Aponte, all of whom scored four points.
East Lynn completed the sweep with a 55-31 victory in the boys’ game. Harrington’s Amil Cohen led all scorers with 10 points. The Lynn Woods duo of Kolin Mace (8 points) and Enrique Crespo (7) played a key role in the win. Bryce Hill and 3-point-contest winner Isaiah Lejer, both from Div. 1 champion Ingalls, added five points apiece for East Lynn.
