Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 5:22 a.m. Sunday on Liberty Square. 

A report of a fire alarm at 12:29 a.m. Sunday on Garland Street. 

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 1:27 a.m. Sunday at Bruno’s Bar on Western Avenue, 5:17 a.m. on Tudor Street, 10:46 a.m. on Alley Street, and 1:53 p.m. at Tula Flavor on Washington Street. 

Trespassing

Reports of disturbances at 12:23 a.m. Sunday on Hardy Street, 1:20 a.m. on Hardy Street, 2:31 a.m. on Collins Street, 4:07 a.m. on Rainbow Road, and 7:57 p.m. at Group Home on Lowell Street.

Reports of motor vehicle parking complaints at 9:51 a.m. Sunday on Lynn Street and Lynnfield Street and 6:32 p.m. at J&H Truck Repair on Newbury Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 1:42 a.m. Sunday on Dimitrios Circle and County Street, 9:17 a.m. at McDonald’s Restaurant on Main Street, 10:26 a.m. on Lowell Street and Jennifer Lane, 1:47 p.m. on Lynn Street, and 8:08 p.m. at Hallmark Building on Newbury Street.

SAUGUS

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 2:56 a.m. Sunday at Harbor Freight Tools on Broadway. Building appears to be secure; a report at 7:57 a.m. at Sizzle Tanning Salon on Lincoln Avenue. Building appears to be secure; a report at 8:10 p.m. at Belmonte STEAM Academy on Dow Street. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 9:07 p.m. at Kohl’s Department Store on Broadway. Accidental/defective alarm.  

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 2:47 a.m. Sunday at the Red Roof Inn on Broadway. An employee reported that two female parties refused to leave after their card declined. Services rendered.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 11:31 a.m. Sunday at Kane’s Donuts on Lincoln Avenue. Caller reported a minor accident. There were no injuries. Report taken; a report at 2:14 p.m. at Animal Medical Center of New England on Essex Street. Caller reported a minor accident and the vehicle was stuck on the roadway and could not be moved. Services rendered; a report at 2:36 p.m. on Broadway. Caller reported an accident with injury. Removed to hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 8:47 a.m. Sunday at the Pratt Overpass on Broadway. Verbal warning; a report at 6:25 p.m. at Planet Fitness on Broadway. Verbal warning; a report at 6:36 p.m. on Lynn Fells Parkway. Verbal warning. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 1:58 p.m. Sunday on Elizabeth Court. Caller reported a vehicle had been parked in front of his home for six months. Vehicle towed. 

Noise Complaint

A report of a noise complaint at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at the Holiday Inn Express on Broadway. The front desk reported a loud noise coming from a room. The occupants refused to lower the music. Services rendered. 

Property Damage

A report of property damage at 1:03 p.m. Sunday on Guild Road. A man reported damage to his vehicle. Services rendered. 

Robbery

A report of an unarmed robbery at 7:55 p.m. Sunday at Walmart on Broadway. Caller reported that somebody had taken his hat off his head. Investigated. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 12:23 p.m. Sunday at Saugus Rehabilitation and Nursing on Lincoln Avenue. Caller reported that her wallet and birth certificate were missing. An officer confirmed with the staff that it was a dementia patient. No police service necessary. 

Suspicious Person

A report of a suspicious person at 3:53 a.m. Sunday on Springdale Avenue. Caller reported someone had been attempting to break into vehicles on his street. The party drove off in a silver sedan after setting off an alarm. An area check was performed, and the vehicle could not be located. Services rendered.
