I write in strong support of Wayne Spritz for the Select Board in Swampscott. Wayne has my endorsement because of his deep commitment to our town, his thorough knowledge of the issues we face, and a proven record of effective leadership.
As a member of the Solid Waste Advisory committee, which Wayne chairs, I can attest to his ability to identify critical issues, analyze them carefully, and develop practical solutions. His work to secure smarter trash and recycling practices as we renew our contract for these services is just one clear example. Wayne’s leadership fosters collegiality and genuine enjoyment among those who serve with him. He is never cagey about where he stands on an issue and will probe exhaustively to make sure he fully understands before coming to any decision.
Beyond solid waste, Wayne has contributed extensively to Swampscott as co‑chair and member of the Renewable Energy Committee, in shaping our Climate Action Plan, and in promoting resilience for our coastal assets. He consistently balances fiscal responsibility with long‑term planning, commits to transparent decision‑making, and works to increase community engagement by building trust.
I encourage fellow residents to vote for Wayne Spritz for Select Board. His steady, thoughtful leadership will serve Swampscott well.
