Athlete of the Week – Lynn Classical’s Brooke Braswell

Joey Barrett

April 29, 2026 by Joey Barrett

You know what I’ve been thinking? Last week kept getting better and better for Brooke Braswell.

The Lynn Classical softball standout delivered across a four-game stretch. The Lady Rams dropped one to Revere, but recorded three wins against Everett, traditional archrival Lynn English, and Revere in a rematch.

Braswell roped a triple against Everett. The next day, with the Patriots in her way, she connected on another triple to score a run.

Then, another level.

During Monday’s massive win against English, she batted 4-for-5 with a pair of RBI and four runs scored. Fast forward a day — a revenge victory against Revere — Braswell (2-for-3, 3 RBI, 3 R) tripled for her 100th career hit.

“Brooke getting her 100th hit in this game was special,” said coach Joe Morin. “I’m very proud of the girls for bouncing back.”

Next is Monday’s road game in Somerville. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. between Greater Boston League foes.

Brooke, good week.
