Throughout the North Shore Navigators’ first win of the season, a 4-2 road victory against Sanford, locals entered the spotlight and didn’t disappoint. St. Mary’s alumni Josh Doney (UMass Lowell) and Jack Zimmerman (Dayton) each pitched two scoreless innings. Doney, pictured, recorded three strikeouts and allowed one hit, while Zimmerman collected two punchouts and conceded a hit.
