Update: Bartos Modrzynski has been located.

MARBLEHEAD — The Marblehead Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 53-year-old man who was reported missing after leaving his home Friday evening.

Police said Bartos “Bart” Modrzynski was last seen at approximately 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 17, when he left his residence on a bicycle. He was reportedly headed to the gym but has not been seen since.

Modrzynski is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray-blue T-shirt, gray shorts, blue shoes, and a bicycle helmet.

Police have classified Modrzynski as missing and endangered and said there is concern for his well-being.

Officers have searched the surrounding area but have not located him. The department is now asking residents to report any information that could assist in the search.
