A Saturday matinee brought the Lynn Classical and Danvers baseball teams to Fraser Field, with the Falcons flying by the Rams 3-0.
Danvers’ Dylan Weeks tossed a complete game, allowing just three hits with two walks and six strikeouts. Jack Curcuru tapped home plate twice and stole four bases, while Jason Walters collected an RBI for the Falcons (2-2).
Mark Walsh got the start for Classical (1-3) and pitched five innings. He allowed one unearned run and no hits alongside eight strikeouts. Hits came from Jayden Barragan, Emerson Lara, and Gendry Pereyra.
“Walsh pitched a great game . . . kept us in it,” said Classical coach Jason Rogato. “We had opportunities on offense, but just couldn’t push runs across.”

Lynnfield’s (3-1) Will Mandile (7 IP, 4 H, 6 K) recorded a complete-game win against the Hawks.
“He pitched very well,” said Lynnfield coach John O’Brien. “He only walked three people in seven innings and was right around 100 pitches.”
The Pioneers’ offense was led by Matt Tracy (2 H, RBI), Chase McEwen (RBI), and Evan Gately (RBI), while Jared Burke “did a very nice job behind the plate” and Harris Hadzihasanovic “made a couple nice catches and had a base hit with a run,” both said by O’Brien.
“It was an all-around effort,” he said.
