LTTE: Support for Wayne Spritz

To the editor

April 13, 2026 by To the editor

To the editor:
In the upcoming Swampscott elections, Wayne Spritz is running for Select Board, and I want to express my support for him in perhaps a slightly different manner than how typical letters to the editor are written.
Everyone can read about the many ways Wayne contributes to the improvement of Swampscott: the committees on which he’s served over the years, his specific efforts, his goals for the town, and why he thinks they are important.
My focus is on the kind of person he is: his intelligence, his sincere concern for the town’s welfare and its inhabitants, his tremendous skill at diplomacy in working with others, his patience in handling delicate matters so as to minimize potential negativity and produce results that satisfy everyone involved.
I tremendously admire Wayne’s tenacity to achieve the best possible outcome, no matter what obstacles may arise. He will be a significant asset to the Select Board as a person who is easy to work with and who strives to make each person – on and off the Board – feel valued.
When you go to the polls April 28, please vote for Wayne Spritz for Select Board.
Sincerely,
Stefanie Neumann, Ph.D.
Swampscott,  MA
