In set scores of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-21, Classical (8-1, 5-0 Greater Boston League) defeated Chelsea behind Riches Tep (14 kills, 10 digs, ace), Kenzel Lantano (35 assists, 4 kills, 2 aces, 9 digs), and Long Pham (21 digs, ace, assist).
“Chelsea came into our building and played hard today. They made it difficult to put balls down all day,” said Classical coach Chris LeBlanc. “Kenzel did a great job distributing the volleyball to his hitters. We ended up with four kids who had at least six kills and that is a testament to his decision-making. Long had an outstanding day passing the volleyball today and the efficiency with which we were able to run our offense today started with Long.”
